Grewars and DNA Testing
Grewars, Gruers, Gruars, Grewers are all encouraged to obtain details of their DNA. Those with the above spellings of the name, can obtain details of their DNA. By comparing DNA, the society can scientifically establish genetic links between Gruers from Boleskine in Inverness for example and compare these to Gruers in Braemar and Glenisla, to see if they are descended from the same ancestor. A useful genealogical tool for the society's members. For more information contact Oxford Ancestors.
