Membership
Membership is open to men and women throughout the world, regardless of colour, creed or race who:
- Bear the name Grewar or an alternative spelling, such as Grower, Gruer, Gruar, Grewer and either have or claim Scots ancestry; or
- Do not bear the name Grewar, but have proven Grewar ancestry from Scotland; in either the male or female line.
A membership fee of £15 Sterling (approx $30 US) per family at one address is normally payable annually. Membership is payable prior to the Society's Annual General Meeting on 30th November each year. To encourage new members to join, membership is free until 30sup>th November 2008. Those interested in joining the Society should do so through the contact section of this site.
Benefits of Membership
Members of the society receive:
- A quarterly newsletter – "The Cateran". (Starting 2009)
- Invitations to society gatherings and social events.
- A Family History Forum to ask other members questions on Grewar Family History
- Help with genealogical research and access to the society's database of information once established.
- To enjoy the kinship of other society members.

Membership is currently free until 30th November 2008.
